SecurityRIP is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.
We collect information you provide directly (account registration, scan targets, contact forms), information generated by your use of our service (scan results, vulnerability findings, usage logs), and technical information (IP addresses, browser type, timestamps) for security and performance monitoring.
We use your information to provide and improve SecurityRIP, send scan results and security alerts, respond to support requests, process payments via Stripe, comply with legal obligations, and detect and prevent abuse or unauthorized access.
Scan results and vulnerability data are stored securely in our database. When AI-assisted analysis is used, only the minimum necessary scan metadata (not full page content or credentials) is sent to AI providers (DeepSeek, Anthropic). You can request that AI processing be disabled for your account. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: Stripe (payment processing), AI providers (scan analysis, minimal metadata only), cloud infrastructure providers (hosting), and law enforcement when legally required. All third-party providers are bound by appropriate data processing agreements.
Account data is retained while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion. Scan results and vulnerability data are retained per your plan settings (minimum 90 days). You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting contact@securityrip.com.
We use TLS encryption for all data in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive fields, RBAC for access control, and audit logging for all key actions. We are working toward SOC 2 Type II certification.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Contact contact@securityrip.com to exercise these rights. We respond to all requests within 30 days.
